Finland’s most renowned and high-caliber communication competition, the Finnish Comms Awards, culminated in a spectacular awards gala on October 31. We took home the gold in the challenging Internal Communication category alongside our client, WithSecure Plc. Additionally, Mika Pärssinen, CEO of our client Habita, was honored as Spokesperson of the Year.

In 2023, market research company Taloustutkimus conducted a survey on the image and competence of pr and communication service providers in Finland. The survey was answered by corporate decision-makers and executives who buy communications services. Brunnen Communications was rated as the best in terms of understanding the client's business, reliability and ethics.

Three wins for Brunnen at the national Finnish Comms Awards

Brunnen's communication work won three awards in the main category of the Finnish Comms Awards, the biggest and the most influential competition of the comms consultancy industry in Finland. Communication partnership with Habita was chosen as the Strategic Communication Consultancy of the Year. Together with HSY and TerraWise, the first place was won in the Organizational Communication category, and with OX2 in the Communication Training and Simulations category.

The Finnish Comms Awards, the top-quality, most prestigious communications event in Finland, culminated yesterday with a superb awards gala. Three of our client cases received awards as the best PR assignments of 2022! On top of this, the jury voted Brunnen as the Comms Agency of the Year 2022.

Exceptionally great news! We have been named a finalist in the SABRE Awards 2022 EMEA PR agency competition. Our work with Finnish Kennel Club 'Covid caused a dog ownership boom, but a dog is not a toy' communicated against unethical puppy farming.

PRBI Barometer: The year 2022 will focus on strategic communication

PR agencies are now most in demand about strategic communication skills, media relations and crisis communication skills. The results are shown in the annual PRBI barometer, which examines the views of PR agencies in more than 40 countries on changes in the demand for PR services and priorities. Regardless of their geographical location, the majority (67%) of agencies believe that the demand for PR services they provide will be slightly higher than in 2021. According to respondents, clients’ PR budgets will either remain unchanged or increase slightly.
